General membership benefits (National Level)

Find a Photographer Database
This database, found on the ASMP national site, is available to all General Members. It provides you with a place to display several of your hottest images along with a description of your business and links to your site. Think of the database as a portal that brings potential clients right to your door.

The ASMP Forum
The forum is an online place to meet up with other members and discuss business topics, get some help and support. Plus the online version brings you late-breaking news, alerts along with marketing, legal and other business information. Best of all, it's included within your membership.

The ASMP Business Practices Book
The definitive guide to being a professional photographer. You'll find loads of useful tidbits to help you run a tight ship.

Specialty Groups
These groups let you hook up with like-minded photographers to find ways to solve common problems. Each group has a listserv where you can ask a question and get some advise on business and/or technical issues.

ASMP has a commercial insurance plan, Prosurance, administered through Taylor & Taylor. It is designed specifically for professional photographers and is offered exclusively to ASMP members.

ASMP health insurance options are better than ever. ASMP has Association Health Programs exclusively for our members. As a member, you will receive special premium rates and enhanced insurance coverage for yourself, your family, or your company. These benefits will extend to part-time and full-time employees of companies. Programs are not available in all states and plans may vary by state. We have consultants listed for all the states not covered on this plan to assist members in finding coverage.
